Here we have Hikaru Shidou from Magic Knight Rayearth, as modeled by Luna herself!
For the Jacket, collar, bow and cuffs, she used casa satin which is 100 perect polyester
in the colours red and white.
The pleated skirt, she did not make. She bought it from a thrift store and
cut a few inches off it and added the red trimmed biased tape. She also used biased tape
for the black trimming on the cuffs, collar and bow. Black taffetta was used for the detachable
waistband of the skirt.
Critique
Though the costume itself is pretty much very acurate - (with few exceptions; the S symbol is on the other side --;;; (Luna: I SWEAR it was on the other side when I made it! ;_;
Kero: Riiiiiight.) and the waistband not being attached.
